Al Rugger Email Address: arugger@msn.com, arugger@mchsi.com Position: Communications Director , Cyclone club liason Board Member Term: 2004-2008 GDMCC Member Since: 2000 Career: Wells Fargo Home Mortgage – Private Conventional Claims Family: 1 son Austin, just graduated from Valley High School in WDM, and is enrolled at ISU for Aerospace Engineering. He is also a member of the ISU varsity marching band. How did you become a Cyclone?: It was natural that I became a Cyclone as I grew up just outside of Ames. In high school I worked at a restaurant named Mr. Steak on the West edge of Ames. There I met many ISU students , one who was the president of the Phi Tau chapter of Alpha Chi Rho, a fraternity on Welch Ave. I was pledged to this frat and became a Cyclone forever. Favorite thing about GDMCC?: The main thing I enjoy is the involvement in promoting the ISU events. It gives a personal feeling of making a difference, even if only in a small way. Other than working with great Cyclone fans, this is the favorite thing I enjoy about the GDMCC. How do you spend time when you are not working, cheering for the Cyclones, or doing GDMCC events?: When I can I imitate a pro golfer, but that stops the minute I try to hit the ball. It's fun though. I am also on the reunion committee for our high school reunion.

How did you become a Cyclone?: Came to ISU to get an education, ended up What is your favorite part of being on the GDMCC board?: The witty repartee at board meetings. Favorite thing about GDMCC?: Getting together to c b heer on the Cyclones! How do you spend time when you are not working, cheering for the Cyclones, or doing GDMCC events?: I'm current President of the ISU Alumni Band and am heavily involved in Cyclone Gridiron Club activities.

Brooke Lovelace Position: President Board Member Term: 2010 GDMCC Member Since: 2001 Career: Policy Analyst for the Center for Disabilities and Development, University of Iowa Hospitals Family: One significant other for the last five years How did you become a Cyclone?: My Grandpa, I remember watching the Donnie Duncan show with him What is your favorite part of being on the GDMCC board?: The great people, who have a passion for the cyclones! Favorite thing about GDMCC?: Game watches and the GDMCC golf challenge How do you spend time when you are not working, cheering for the Cyclones, or doing GDMCC events?:  Running, boating, golfing, die hard Broncos fan as well

Adam Batcheller Email Address: batch40oz@yahoo.com Position: President Elect Board Member Term: Expires 4/2011 GDMCC Member Since: 2006 Career: Family: Wife – Rebecca How did you become a Cyclone?: Decided to attend Iowa State University in the Fall of 1996 and have been a committed and loyal fan ever since. However, I still support my Hawkeye Family since both my parents and sister are all graduates of that other school based in Iowa City. What is your favorite part of being on the GDMCC board?: The shared passion for Iowa State University and its athletic programs. Favorite thing about GDMCC?: The GDMCC & Iowa State Men’s and Women’s Golf Team Annual Cyclone Challenge. I don’t know of another program or event that allows Cyclone Fans to meet Cyclone Athletes in their element and experience their unique abilities up close and personal. Also Gamewatches give us a chance to make our presence felt in the Greater Des Moines Community while supporting our favorite team the Cyclones!!! How do you spend time when you are not working, cheering for the Cyclones, or doing GDMCC events?: I also serve on the Greater Des Moines Music Coalition (DMMC) Board of Directors as their Concert Corps Coordinator and member of the Events and Festivals Committee. You can learn more about the DMMC at http://www.desmoinesmc.com it will give you inside access to the local music scene in Des Moines Iowa. We all know people who loved seeing live local music at People’s in Ames while attending Iowa State University and now that it has moved to Des Moines we can still live some of those memories locally. Other interests include Golf, Rugby, Family, Friends, and Sampling all different kinds of beer.
